Today is a good day for crafting in the media. To whit: the New York Times Dec. 16 article on the Buy Handmade Pledge, DIY, and Etsy, and the Dec. 17 cover article in the Wall Street Journal about the knitting Sock Wars. The perfect comeback for family and friends who give you crap for quitting your day job to craft (you know who you are), these articles are good primers on the who/what/why of crafting.
So, get thee to my Etsy shop, COLORBOMB Creations, buy some of my handspun art yarn (or some other handcrafted materials), and make something by hand this holiday season!
