Not much Purl 'n Hurl action downtown; I'm guessing the Winnie-the-Pooh weather kept attendance down. Did see Bea there, and Korinne sat and knit while I worked on more LoopyDoopy supercoils. I learned something, too: spinning with numb fingers doesn't work very well!
Got lots of positive attention on the Beenie; it's definitely my new fave hat.
Not much else to report. Just a quiet Saturday 'round these parts. 'Til next time!

Where the heck is your spinning wheel? It certainly isn't that flat piece of wood right there in your left arm, is it?
ReplyDeletefrom your past few blog reports, it looks like you are doing tons of supercoils lately! will any of these end up for sale on etsy? hope so!
ReplyDeletealso - love the hat!
hi loopy! ha, told ya it's hard to see my wheel! it's in it's travel bag, on my back. you can just see the blue of the backpack-style bag peeking out. (the board is a retired bread-kneading board from brio, the local bakery; i use it to stabilize my wheel on the grass.)
ReplyDeletesemiprecious: LOTS of coils, but they're all destined for Black Sheep Gathering where i'll be a vendor in june; any that don't sell will go right into the etsy shop, though. thanks for askin', and thanks for the compliment on my hat!
