A FO and a WIP

You might not be able to tell from reading this blog, but I *do* still knit occasionally. I finally finished the seed stitch scarf (from way back in early December) in Manos del Uruguay to be donated to the Red Scarf Project. And on the right is the hat I started yesterday (instead of working on one of the many UFOs lurking around the house). I'm using Material Whirled handspun that I bought a couple years before I learned to spin, called 'Mr. Peppermint'. I think there'll be enough yarn to make matching cuffs or something else fun.
